NFL fans have received a major update regarding fan-favorite show Good Morning Football.
On Monday, Kyle Brandt announced that he will return to the show when it returns from the cross-country move.
NFL Media moved the show out of the New York City studio and relocated Good Morning Football to the West Coast, closer to its Los Angeles headquarters.
It was determined that costs were too high to operate across the country from the headquarters.
When GMFB made the announcement of the move and hiatus, the fate of the cast members was largely shrouded in mystery.
Only anchor Jamie Erdahl had confirmed she was staying with the show at the time of it going off the air.
“I’m also really happy to say that I get to keep sitting in my chair, being the best point guard I can be when Good Morning Football returns in Los Angeles,” she said at the time.
“So I will see you from LA. But now I’m gonna go have a baby.”
Now, Brandt joins Erdahl as the second member of the cast confirmed to be returning.
A fan on X asked Brandt if he would be on GMFB when it returned to TV screens, and he gave a simple answer, “Yes.”
Brandt was on the original crew of the show when it launched in 2016 and has been one of the constants amid turnover on the cast.
He previously said goodbye to the show, but gave a hint about returning during the show’s goodbye tour.
“I want to spend the rest of my career with the NFL,” Brandt said then.
“And Good Morning Football is not ending, it is expanding.”
Jason McCourty and Peter Schrager are the two remaining cast members to not reveal if they are remaining with the show.
Schrager declined to comment on the situation during an appearance on The Press Box podcast in April.
McCourty has simply not commented on anything about the show yet.

With this season’s schedule now revealed, eager NFL fans are looking to secure tickets to their favorite games.
You can start buying tickets for some games on several sites now:
Before purchasing tickets on resale websites check pricing as they are third-party sellers and, importantly, the cost can vary depending on demand. You may pay more than an official ticket, though you can also get good last-minute deals too.
But if you can’t be there in person, don’t worry, there’s still time to set up your stream before the season starts.
You can also keep up to date with the latest NFL coverage right here at The U.S. Sun.
When GMFB does return to air, whether it includes McCourty and Schrager or not, it will follow a new format.
While it will continue to air at 7 am ET, it will be extended by two hours.
The 7 am ET start also means that the show will start at 4 am for the hosts in Los Angeles.
NFL Media is also syndicating GMFB to Fox affiliate TV stations across the country when it returns.
Good Morning Football is scheduled to return on September 1 for the start of the NFL season.
