Police are on the hunt for two firebugs who set fire to a northern suburbs lolly store.
Emergency services were called to a blaze at Candy Station — an American-style grocery store — at the Ballajura City Shopping Centre about 3.40am on Tuesday.
The fire caused damage to the front and interior of the building.
Arson Squad investigators examined the scene and determined the blaze was deliberately lit.
Police footage shows two masked men approach the store carrying a petrol canister and a large axe.
One man can be seen attempting to break into the store by destroying the front lock with the axe.
