Local Palestinian media reports that a Turkish-American woman was shot by Israeli soldiers in the West Bank and later died.
The reports on Friday said the victim was a 26-year-old activist who was participating in a protest against the expansion of Jewish settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory.
The incident occurred in the town of Beita.

The Israeli military also said in a statement on Friday that it fired toward a person who hurled rocks at them, posing a threat.
