The Rez Ball is all set to release on the OTT platform Netflix. Rez Ball OTT release date is fixed to September 27, 2024. The sports drama is all about basketball players and their life stories and is set in New Mexico. Starting September 27, all regular Netflix subscribers can access the film; however, if you are not a subscriber, you must sign up.
The official description of the film by Netflix on YouTube reads, ”From producer LeBron James and the co-creator of Reservation Dogs, comes the story of the Chuska Warriors – a high school basketball team rich in Native American heritage. After losing their star player, the team must come together like never before to keep their state championship dreams alive.”
The film revolves around a team of Chuska Warriors who face different challenges in their lives. The sports drama shows a team of players dealing with the loss of their top player. The squad realises that it is only through togetherness that they can achieve success.

Rez Ball is inspired by Michael Powell’s well-known book Canyon Dreams: A Basketball Season on the Navajo Reservation, as well as the New York Times stories that laid the groundwork.
As per Netflix, the film is about the “high school basketball team rich in Native American heritage,” who are expected to bounce back to keep their championship dreams alive.
Rez Ball is directed and also co-written by Sydney Freeland.
The star cast involves actors like Jessica Matten, Julia Jones, Amber Midthunder, Cody Lightning, Ernest Tsosie, Kauchani H. Bratt, Devin Sampson Craig, and River Rayne Thomas, among others.
