When we think of
manual transmissions
, our minds wander straight to elegant Porsche 911s, fire-breathing V8 Mustangs, and maybe even a Miata. But the
Buick Regal
GS? Never! But, we are about to marvel at this 2013 Buick Regal GS equipped with a rare 6-speed manual transmission. It’s an
American sports sedan
that sometimes gets overlooked when it comes to performance and character.
The Buick Regal GS is a highly underrated sports sedan. Underneath its somewhat simple yet polished and unassuming exterior, the 2013 Buick Regal GS up for grabs on Cars and Bids packs quite a punch. Borrowed from its European cousin, the Opel Insignia, this American sports sedan hides a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 under the hood. The engine is capable of pumping out a healthy 270 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, which means that this isn’t your grandma’s Buick.
