About the owner
Gabriel Grove, a licensed massage therapist, is the owner of Trinity Wellness—previously located at 457 Landa St., Braunfels—and he offers sports and medical massage therapy, specializing in deep tissue, cupping, and recovery techniques for athletes and active individuals.
“I don’t pet people … we’re going to do work,” Grove said. “It’s not going to be comfortable, but it’s going to get you feeling better in the end.”
Grove, a New Braunfels native, shared that his move was driven by a need for increased exposure while staying in his hometown where he has deep roots, he said.
“I’ve known [American Fitness owner] Jay Patel for a long time, and he gave me the opportunity,” Grove said. “It’s pretty cool to be back in the gym where I first started working out at 16 … I feel like I’ve come full circle.”
What’s next
Looking forward, Grove plans to expand Trinity Wellness by building a team of therapists with diverse skill sets to serve more residents of New Braunfels.
He has recently added two new therapists, who will share his treatment room.
“I want to get a team that can also accommodate the relaxing side of things, like hot stone, Swedish, and prenatal massage, to expand my reach into different demographics,” Grove said.
