A video showed the jaw-dropping moment masked thugs appear to stride out of a massive golf store carrying armfuls of clubs.
The cameraman follows the group around the shop to catch the entire thing on film as two men each appear to swipe dozens of the sports equipment.
Police are understood to be investigating the robbery, which Express.co.uk understands took place at American Golf in Sidcup, south London.
Officers were called to the scene on Friday evening, they said.
The man behind the camera, who has not been identified, appears to joke with the thieves as he catches them on film.
The pair appear to brazenly swipe extra shirts and other merchandise as they head through the door, setting off the security alarm.
They are then followed by the cameraman as they rush to their car, to which he jokingly remarks: “Same car again, boys?”
The thieves jump in the car and quickly drive away, followed by the camera.
Some social media users, responding to the video, claimed the man filming should have tried to stop the robbers.
However, one user pointed out: “You don’t know who they really are and maybe he does, not worth his life”.
Another said the crime was “absolutely disgusting”, while a third commented: “Terrible”.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed to Express.co.uk that they were called at 7.53pm last Friday, February 23, to a shop on A20 Sidcup-by-pass, BR7 to reports of a burglary.
Officers will be attending the scene to speak to the victim and provide crime prevention advice, they said.
There have not been any arrests at this stage, and enquiries continue.
