Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Tim Brown recorded a hole-in-one on Friday at the American Century Championship.
Brown nailed an ace on the par-three 12th hole, earning eight points in the event and winning a MasterCraft X24 boat. The boat is valued at over $200,000 (h/t NBC Sports).
The former nine-time Pro Bowl receiver was playing alongside other NFL legends such as Marcus Allen and Jerome Bettis. After he made the shot, Brown revealed that he wasn’t aware of the prize that came with it.
“I didn’t even know about the boat,” he said. “I saw the boat there, and Marcus Allen said, ‘Man, you just won a boat!'”
Brown is currently in a tie for eighth on the American Century Championship leaderboard following the first round of play. Carolina Panthers wide receiver Adam Thielen holds the top spot.
The Raiders icon isn’t the only athlete to record a hole-in-one at the event, as Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry accomplished the feat in 2023.
Brown will attempt to keep his momentum going during Round 2, which will begin at 2:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
