The upcoming weekend in North American horse racing is comparatively light in terms of marquee races for January, as there are no Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve preps scheduled and only one graded stakes race on the calendar.
The main event is the Sunshine/California Cup series of stakes races held at Gulfstream Park and Santa Anita Park, respectively, on Saturday, Jan. 11. Those races will be shown on FanDuel TV along with action from other tracks around the country.
Live racing from Aqueduct and Oaklawn Park is showcased on “America’s Day at the Races” for three consecutive days this week, starting on Friday, Jan. 10 and ending on Sunday, Jan. 12. That program airs on FOX Sports channels – check the below schedule for times.
