Cary, N.C. – Five members of Texas Women’s Tennis will be competing at the ITA Women’s All-American Championships in Cary, N.C., from Sept. 21-29.
The prequalifying rounds are set to start on Saturday, Sept. 21, and will include sophomore Shachf Lieberman, and freshmen Ariana Anazagasty-Pursoo, who is the prequalifying 13 seed, and Carmen Herea, who is the prequalifying 17 seed, in singles. Anazagasty-Pursoo and Herea will pair in doubles as the prequalifying 2 seed, as will Lieberman and junior Vivian Ovrootsky.
Qualifying play then begins Monday, Sept. 23, with junior No. 96 Ovrootsky and freshman No. 104 Ashton Bowers in singles, while Anazagasty-Pursoo is an alternate in singles.
The main draw will then take place from Sept. 25-29 and will be broadcast by Cracked Racquets.
